Flame may be hard to see. Assume fuel is lit, even if you do not see flames. Wait 4 minutes until the grill's grate is hot to start cooking.

Before disposing of FlameDisk, burn all fuel completely and then let cool an additional 10 minutes before handling.

Unlike charcoal there's absolutely no mess with the FlameDisk. The FlameDisk leaves no hot coals, ash, or soot in the bottom of the grill.
